The Accounts Purchasing Representative is responsible for executing all aspects of the Accounts Purchasing functions for Melmark.
This position supports Melmark's mission to serve children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders, acquired brain injury, neurological diseases and disorders, comorbid mental health disorders and severe challenging behaviors. It is required that employees demonstrate their understanding of that service mission through their work behavior and commitment to the students and the staff who are directly involved in the delivery of that service.
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree.
Certifications/Licensure: A valid US driver's license and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Must be capable of attaining approved Melmark driver status. Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, and Melmark's Orientation Program and New Hire Onsite training program.
Skill(s): Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and spreadsheet skills. Detail orientation with ability to code/enter bills with multiple account allocation and date sensitive data entry without error. Excellent communication skills to facilitate successful interaction with all company departments and accounts payable vendors outside the company. Self-Motivated, team player willing to take on additional changes as needed and must be flexible during peak workload periods.
Experience: Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of accounting experience.
Interrelationships: Interacts with all Melmark Pennsylvania departments to provide smooth transition between day and residential needs of Melmark Pennsylvania individuals.
Physical Demands: Position requires lifting of up to 50-75lbs
