This is a \"Project\" position designed to support project work for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the project is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of 3-5 years based on business needs at the present time following which you will separate from the Company. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future, at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 3 years of assignment. From year 4 through the end of your assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.

Assist in providing support of the Distribution SCADA (D-SCADA) system including: substation and field device integration, and integration with related systems. Utilize an understanding of PSE&G's Electric Distribution network; to provide guidance on: system maintenance, and on the integrity of the system in conjunction with other Electric Operations Systems (GIS). Assist in troubleshooting and managing the movement of data through production systems. Interact with various other departments across electric delivery to ensure timely updates of the D-SCADA system in regards to changes in the Electric Distribution Network. Support the 24x7 operation of the D-SCADA/DMS system.

Must be able to interact with field crews such as Chief Relay Technicians, Inside Plant Engineers, and other Technicians in regards to D-SCADA troubleshooting of hardware, software, communications, and automation.

As an employee of PSE&G, you should be aware that during storm/outage restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and your regular work schedule. You may also be required to work in an alternate location.

Business Analyst is responsible for business systems and how they align with user needs. Documents requirements, establishes scope, objectives and determines strategy for implementing systems to achieve business goals including: gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business functions to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities include:

? Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & define reporting and alerting requirements. Own and develop day to day relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration as well as establish a deep understanding of our customers' business and functional needs. Provide product expertise in regards to functional needs and processes

? Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization. Contribute to the strategic vision/plans and identify product enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify current landscape

? Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations

? Provide specific contributions as directed by Product Leader

Required Skills

Required: Grade 26

? Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or STEM degree with 2-4 years relevant experience within the technology and/or utility field. Without a bachelor's degree in STEM, you must have 6-8 years of relevant experience within technology and/or utility field.

? 2+ years business analysis experience with proven experience on small - medium sized, simple projects by documenting requirements, establishing scope, objectives and determining strategy for testing & implementing systems to achieve business goals including: gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business functions to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met

? 1+ years proven experience working with project teams to determine implementation and testing strategy

? Work and communicate with a wide range of people - peers, vendors, staff members, broader functional and business leadership, and others. Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude, demeanor and discretion

? Ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way.

? Demonstrated ability to perform assigned work proficiently.

? Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.

? Strong analytical, financial and customer / client skills, strong teamwork, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels.

? Exceptional consultative skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in terms that are clear and easily understandable to non-technical people.

? Must possess demonstrated leadership skills

? Must have strong PC skills, specifically proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel and Power Point.

? Good planning and organizational skills with ability to multi-task

? Experience with SAP financial transactions and SAP operating systems. (CCS, MRS, CRM etc.)

? Strong change management experience, requirements management and process knowledge.

? Creative and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and multi-task.

? Strong writing and communication skills.

? Must have a valid driver's license

? Advanced degree, e.g. Masters of Information Technology

? Communication network design and troubleshooting

? Strong working knowledge of DNP3

? Database Administrative experience (SQL, Oracle)

? Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating systems

? Ability to proactively communicate business processes and needs in a clear, succinct, and relevant way.

? Experience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiences

? Strong leadership and influence skills. Ability to work through issues independently with successful outcomes

? Proactively identify key features, capabilities and areas of improvements needed within the products

? Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
